Cal Poly SAE is the Student Section of the Society of Automotive Engineers at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA, USA.

We are a club of about 100 students that meet on a biweekly basis hosting speakers from various interesting backgrounds.

We also participate heavily in the campus community, hosting events for interested students and participating in ASI events such as Week of Welcome, Club Fairs, and more.

But our biggest focus and most fun activities are the collegiate competitions that we participate in. CPSAE fields teams in all three of the major SAE competitions. We have a Baja Team, a Formula Team, and a Supermileage Team.
